PS3 NES Emulator Thru BD-J Hack

PS3 Filer allows you to browse .jpg, .png, and .gif image files by using the Blu-Ray Disc Java Hack. But the best part of PS3 Filer is that it also emulates the Nintendo Entertainment System. Play NES roms on your PlayStation 3. Sound does not work.

  1. Download the PS3 Filer here.
  2. Extract the AVCHD folder root of a flash Memory Device.
  3. Place the roms into the AVCHD folder.
  4. Go to the Video section in the XMB on your PS3.
  5. Browse the contents of the Memory Stick.
  6. Select the AVCHD file.
  7. PS3 Filer will boot up and it will bring you to the filer browser.
  8. Select the NES Rom to start the game.
  9. Press the triangle button and go to the numeric pad. 1 is Select, and 2 is Start.
  10. Press the triangle button again to play Nintendo on your PS3.
